The rap, a term derived by the acronym of the words Rhythm And Poetry is a way of life emerged in the United States in the late sixties and became a prominent part of modern culture. The term was invented by singer Joe Tex. Rap is the vocal component of hip hop culture and is essentially to "talk" to follow a certain pattern, this vocal technique is performed by a MC (freestyle), while the DJ (turntablist, beatmaking, scratching) accompanies the MC. The styles of hip hop dance (notably breakdancing), the graffiti writing, rapping and DJing are the four elements of hip hop culture was born in the African American community and Latin America  in New York in the early seventies, as a readjustment American DJ style, a style of Jamaican reggae considered the main precursor of this kind.
