JAZZ
Jazz is a musical genre of U.S. origin born in the early years of the twentieth century in African American communities in the Southern United States. The result of a confluence of African and European music traditions, its distinctive features are the use of intense improvisation, swing tempo often syncopated, rhythmic variations and the melancholy tone given by the use of blue notes.
